Global Impact: Call for Proposals for the Future-Ready Skills Grant

Grant Focus: The Future-Ready Skills Grant aims to bridge the gap between current university curriculum and the demand for 21st-century skills (e.g., coding, data science, AI ethics, advanced digital literacy) in high-growth, emerging economies.


Eligible Applicants: This grant is open exclusively to accredited public and private universities or higher education institutions located in low-to-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank). Applications must be submitted by the university's central administration or a designated research/grants office.


Funding Range: We anticipate awarding up to five grants in this cycle, with each grant ranging from $500,000 to $1.5 Million USD over a three-year period.


Use of Funds: Acceptable use includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Development and implementation of new, applied STEM/Digital curriculum.
  2. Purchase of specialized laboratory or computing equipment.
  3. Faculty professional development and "train-the-trainer" programs.
  4. Establishment of industry-partnership incubation centers within the institution.


Core Requirements: Successful proposals must clearly demonstrate:

  1. A scalable model that can be replicated across other departments or institutions.
  2. Measurable outcomes tied to graduate employment rates in target sectors.
  3. A commitment to gender equity and inclusion of students from disadvantaged backgrounds.


Submission Deadline: The formal application window is open until March 31, 2026. Initial proposals (Expression of Interest) must be submitted by December 15, 2025.
