Hong Kong Science Museum — Hands-On for Curious Minds

Ideal for families and curious adults — hundreds of interactive exhibits demonstrate physics, engineering and everyday science with playful hands-on displays.


Practical info

  1. Opening hours: Mondays–Wednesdays & Fridays 10:00–19:00; Saturdays, Sundays & public holidays 10:00–21:00. Closed on Thursdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of Chinese New Year. Box office closes earlier — check site.


  1. Admission / tickets: Exhibition halls and special shows may have admission fees; tickets often available via URBTIX and museum kiosks. Check ticketing page for current details.
  2. Location / how to get there: Tsim Sha Tsui East, near MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui — easy by MTR or taxi.
  3. Closed / holidays: First two days of Chinese New Year; special hours on Christmas Eve / Lunar New Year Eve.

Visitor tips
