Dhaka University provides on-campus housing in the form of residential halls, which are divided by gender:

1. Male Halls (12+): Examples include Salimullah Hall, Shahidullah Hall, Jagannath Hall, etc.
2. Female Halls (7+): Examples include Rokeya Hall, Begum Khaleda Zia Hall, and others.

Key features:

1. Shared rooms (2–4 students per room).
2. Common facilities: dining halls, libraries, common rooms, and sports areas.
3. Security and hall administration for student welfare.
