Titanic Belfast — Belfast (Titanic Quarter)
What is Titanic Belfast
Titanic Belfast is a world-class visitor attraction dedicated to the story of the RMS Titanic — from her conception and construction in Belfast, through her maiden voyage and tragic sinking, and to her legacy ever since. The museum houses a self-guided exhibition called the “Titanic Experience”, which consists of around ten interactive galleries. These galleries take you through the birth of Titanic in the shipyards, her building and fitting-out, launch, maiden voyage, sinking, and the aftermath — all told through immersive displays, historical artefacts, multimedia exhibits, and evocative storytelling.
Besides the galleries, the ticket includes access to the SS Nomadic — the last remaining White Star Line vessel — moored next to Titanic Belfast. Walking its decks gives a tangible sense of the maritime history tied to Titanic.
The building itself is an iconic architectural piece, designed to reflect Belfast’s ship-building heritage: its shape resembles ship prows and it rises on the slipways where Titanic and her sister ships were built.
