- Opening hours: Vary by season — commonly March–September: Mon–Wed, Fri–Sun 10:00–18:00; October–February: Mon–Wed, Fri–Sun 10:00–17:00. Closed on Thursdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of Chinese New Year. (Confirm on museum page before visiting.)
- Admission / tickets: Admission policies vary; many LCSD museums have modest or free admission for permanent galleries; check the museum site for the latest.
- Location / how to get there: Lyemun Pass / Lei Yue Mun area — address 175 Tung Hei Road, Shau Kei Wan, Hong Kong Island. Best reached by MTR to Shau Kei Wan then a short taxi or bus, or ferry + local bus.
